The Safe Arbor collection is a response to our need for a place we can call home. The oak tree sat like an island in a large open farmed field. A metaphor for a port or safe haven. A place to shelter for an abundance of wildlife and the occasional adventurous human willing to risk knee deep mud to approach it.

Many of the Symmetree pieces are created from a number of photographs.

Mark would typically walk around the oak tree taking up to 12 photographs. They would then be combined together.
