Mark has been working with a single oak tree for over 10 years. After the oak tree was felled in a storm, his original photographs have become the source, allowing him to manipulate and combine them with a few selected mediums. Many pieces explore the relationship between the oak tree and the sun while re-imagining the time spent around the oak tree.

He has exhibited and gained awards at The Mall Galleries, Bankside Gallery, Society of Botanical Artists. He also shows regularly at Affordable Art Fairs (London), Edinburgh Art Fair.
